Back in action after their dominant win Tuesday night, the Macks (25-1, 13-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) fell behind early to the Redmen (13-13, 6-10 Marawood North Conference), but fought their way back ahead and pushed the lead out to nine points by the half.
Although Rib Lake hit a number of shots to stay within reach, McDonell maintained their focus and steadily pulled away in the second half. Nine different Macks players scored as they moved on to the Regional Final for the ninth year in a row.

Senior guard/forward Canan Huss battled foul trouble in the first half, but in the second exploded for 16 of his game-high 21 points. Senior guard Eddie Mittermeyer tallied 11 of his 19 before halftime, and senior Aidan Misfeldt provided a spark on both ends of the floor while contributing 9 points on the night.
