The Chippewa Falls Cardinals (3-3, 1-3 Big Rivers Conference) saw their defense put forth a phenomenal effort against the visiting Spartans (4-3, 2-2 BRC), but struggled to move the ball themselves in a physical contest.

Senior Rico DeLeon made several more highlight reel plays while anchoring the defensive line, and fellow senior Logan Erickson recorded both an interception and a fumble recovery.

9/14/18 Football: Eau Claire Regis 35, Altoona 0

The Altoona Railroaders (1-4, 1-4 Cloverbelt Conference) looked to defend their home turf against the conference-leading Ramblers (5-0, 5-0 Cloverbelt), but Regis proved to be dominant on both sides of the ball, staking an early 8-0 lead en route to a shutout and running clock throughout the second half.
