Public Health Planner, Alex Craker, of the Eau Claire City-County Health Department discusses the results of the just completed health assessments in Chippewa, Dunn and Eau Claire counties, which identified the top health issues in each of the counties. We discuss EC's top five with Craker which includes alcohol misuse, poor mental health, lack of access to childcare or affordable childcare, substance misuse and lack of safe or affordable housing. Plus, DJ Griffin discusses his new non-profit, MBM Corp looking to partner with others to build a brighter future for the area's less fortunate through hope, love and respect.
