On the road to end their regular season, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (3-3, 2-3 Big Rivers Conference) got the opening score against the Tigers (0-4, 0-3 Valley Football Association), fell behind 8-7, and then scored the final 15 points of the game with impressive performances in all three phases.

In a year filled with adversity, the senior class once again showed their mettle and ended their 2020 campaign on a winning note.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior LB Elijah Hable made multiple plays in the Tigers backfield, while senior WR Isaac Frenette created explosive plays on offense and special teams.

10/23/20 Football: New Richmond 13, Chi-Hi 10

At home against the newest member of the Big Rivers Conference, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (2-3, 2-2 Big Rivers Conference) started a little slowly against the Tigers (2-2, 2-2 BRC), falling behind 7-0 early in the contest.

The Cards were able to tie the game with an impressive opening drive of the second half and even took the lead, but were unable to find their offense consistently, and one big play by New Richmond made the difference in a tightly contested game.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior LB Elijah Hable consistently made plays in the New Richmond backfield, while senior RB Ben Steinmetz showed his ability to create explosive plays.
