Chippewa Valley This Week
Again this year WWIB and WOGO are trying to raise as much support as possible for backpack and school supply distributions both in the Chippewa Valley and in Liberia, West Africa. We hear from We Care Eau Claire Volunteer Coordinator, Julie Smith; Valley Vineyard Church Pastors, Mike and Trisha Houle; and Teamwork Africa Executive Director, Peggy Halvorsen. The $6300 from our generous business sponsors, and all the money raised through Friday from our listeners, is divided evenly among these three organizations to provide for backpacks, school supplies, and even the necessary black dress shoes as well in Liberia.
