At Dorais Field for the regular season home finale, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (3-5, 2-4 Big Rivers Conference) moved the ball on their first drive, but punted in plus territory, giving way to a Hudson offense that promptly began a lengthy drive of their own, capped off with the game's first score.
The Raiders (7-1, 5-1 BRC), still vying for a conference championship, were then handed a gift when Chi-Hi fumbled deep in their own territory. The visitors capitalized, and were soon up 14-0, stretching the advantage to 21-0 before a late Cardinals score pulled them closer.
In the second half, the Cards tightened up on D, but were unable to get a final stop in the fourth, as they saw a 2-game win streak come to a close.
