University of Wisconsin redshirt senior tight end Gabe Lloyd joins Greg on Sports and Commentary to talk about the impact of the delay on his team and how his faith in Jesus Christ has given him peace in the current situation and hope in the future. 8/28/20 "Friday Night Nostalgia!" Week 2: Chi-Hi at Rice Lake, October 16, 2015

 As we wait for live games to resume, WOGO brings you classic high school football action each week, with our "Friday Night Nostalgia" series on 103.1FM and WOGO.com!

For the first time ever, we will re-air some of the most memorable Chi-Hi and McDonell football games from days gone by!

This week, we travel back in time to October 16, 2015, as the Chippewa Falls Cardinals headed north to Rice Lake with a Big Rivers Conference title on the line. The Cards had not won a conference championship in 7 years. The Warriors were unbeaten on the season, while Chi-Hi had a single setback, an overtime heartbreaker the previous week against Menomonie.

Ethan Chapman was a 2012 draft pick of the Kansas City Royals and played 7 years of pro ball for 5 different organizations. When the time came to retire in 2017 he decided to go from ball player to ball player agent and became a certified MLB player agent. The former college player at Cal State San Bernardino joins Greg on Sports and Commentary to talk about the challenges of representing pro players in the year of Covid and how his faith in Jesus has shaped his philosophy of negotiating pro baseball contracts. 8/23/20 CVTW: Feed My People Food Bank

Chippewa Valley This Week







 WWIB and WOGO radio's sixth "Picnic in the Parking Lot" of the summer of 2020, held August 21st, raised over $3500 for Feed My People Food bank in Eau Claire. FMP says they can provide four meals for people in the 14 west central Wisconsin counties they serve for every $1 given. We hear from Feed My People Field Specialists Tami Syverson and Michelle Pride, as well as business sponsors like Dale Poynter of SDS Architects, Dave Lofquist of Economy Furniture, and Craig Geissler of Markquardt Motors and the Hometown Chevy Dealers.

This week, we travel back to October 11, 2007, as the Chippewa Falls Cardinals hit the road for Menomonie, with a Big Rivers Conference championship on the line.The Indians were riding a 47-game conference winning streak, and had claimed at least a share of the conference title for 7 consecutive seasons.
