In a neutral site non-conference game at the Target Center in Minneapolis, the Macks (4-4, 1-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went back and forth for much of the first half with the Railroaders (2-3, 1-1 Middle Border Conference), before pulling out to a nearly double-digit lead by halftime.
After the break, the Macks again found their rhythm, extending the lead to 20+ points and withstanding aggressive Altoona pressure defense to notch a fourth victory on the season and get back to .500 heading into Christmas break.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior guard Cael Holm hit four threes in the second half and finished with a team-high 17 points, while junior forward Karson Galvez tallied all 12 of his points in a strong first half effort. Senior guard Cooper Mittermeyer scored 9 on the afternoon, and senior Jordan Sikora added 8 in a strong all-around performance.
