Chippewa Valley This Week
On the road for the regular season finale, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (6-3, 4-3 Big Rivers Conference) were in a low-scoring affair for much of the first half against the Raiders (8-1, 6-1 BRC).
In the third, momentum shifted back and forth, with neither team able to gain a decisive advantage while slugging it out with big plays.
Hudson proved strong enough down the stretch, and held on the for the one-possession win.

Back on the road and against a team with an identical record, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (6-2, 4-2 Big Rivers Conference) came out of the gate firing against Wausau West (5-3, 3-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference)
The Cards scored the game's first touchdown on a 4th down and never looked back, moving the ball with ease, gang tackling, rushing the passer, and creating havoc on special teams.
An early third quarter touchdown began the running clock, and the Chi-Hi reserves completed the shutout in a dominant performance.
Chippewa Valley This Week
In their regular season home finale, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (5-2, 3-2 Big Rivers Conference) took on a physical and much-improved Superior team.
After a few drives stalled, the Cardinals found themselves in a rare position - trailing in the 4th quarter.
Once their backs were against the wall, however, Chi-Hi responded, dominating the final frame and staying perfect on their home field.
