Back on the road and against a team with an identical record, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (6-2, 4-2 Big Rivers Conference) came out of the gate firing against Wausau West (5-3, 3-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference)
The Cards scored the game's first touchdown on a 4th down and never looked back, moving the ball with ease, gang tackling, rushing the passer, and creating havoc on special teams.
An early third quarter touchdown began the running clock, and the Chi-Hi reserves completed the shutout in a dominant performance.
The senior twins, Talen and Gavin Shilts, accounted for all six Chi-Hi scores; Talen ran for 3 touchdowns, with Gavin equaling that TD tally with two rushing touchdowns and a 100+ yard pick 6.
