Since 2012 the Chippewa Valley non-profit, Fierce Freedom, has been involved in educating people about the problem of human trafficking and advocating for victims. On this edition FF's Executive Director, Cat Morgan, and Community Engagement Specialist, Joyce Orth, discuss what they do and how things have changed in the time they've been involved. UWEC's Science and Health Sciences Building

From the June 13th groundbreaking ceremony for the new $340.3 million Science and Health Sciences Building on UW-Eau Claire's lower campus we hear from many of the speakers show shared from the podium to mark the occasion. You'll hear from UWEC Chancellor, James Schmidt; Former WI Governor & Former UW System President, Tommy Thompson; Universities of WI President, Jay Rothman; Kathy Blumenfeld, Dept. of Admin. Secretary; Dr. Richard Helmers, Regional VP, Mayo Clinic Health System in WI; Dr. Tim Nelson, Dir. of Innovation, Mayo Clinic Health System in NW WI; Former Pres. of the Univ. Bd. of Regents, John Behling; Dave Minor, Pres. & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce; and UWEC Student Body President, Sam Consiglio. The building will be the largest science facility among regional comprehensive universities in the UW System and the largest academic building on UWEC's campus.
