                                                                   Chippewa Valley This Week

With just over eleven weeks until Election Day we take stock of where things sit in western Wisconsin following Tuesday's primary. We hear from Rebecca Cooke, the winner of Tuesday's 3rd Congressional District Democratic primary, as well as one of her defeated opponents, State Rep. Katrina Shankland(D-Stevens Point) and her November opponent, Republican Congressman, Derrick Van Orden. We set the matchups in many area Assembly races in the following districts: 29, 91, 92, 93, 67, 68 and 69, and also hear from State Rep. Jodi Emerson(D-Eau Claire) and the Dems aspiration to retake the Assembly. Finally, our conversation with Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley Development Director, Scott Wuerch, about this Tuesday's 21st Annual Hike for the Homeless at River Prairie Park in Altoona.
