Two Stories on this week's show--we begin by hearing from the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce's newly announced President and Chief Executive Officer, Ashley De Muth, along with incoming Board Chair, Tracey Smiskey. For the past six and a half years De Muth, of Colfax, has served as CEO of the Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center. She'll succeed the Eau Claire Chamber's current President & CEO, David Minor.
Also, Trinity Equestrian Center Co-Founder, Toni Mattson, looks ahead to their second annual "Strength in Service Summit" Sept. 12th at the Eau Claire Event District. Mattson says the event is "built specifically for first responders and veterans--men and women who shoulder the weight of service every day."is built specifically for first responders and veterans—men and women who shoulder the weight of service every day. It gives them space to connect with others who understand their world, strengthen resilience through meaningful insight, and find renewed inspiration that supports them at work, at home, and in their communities.
