At home against their co-leader in the conference, the Macks (3-2, 2-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went toe to toe with the veteran Blackhawks (4-1, 3-0 WCC), as the teams traded leads throughout a back and forth first half.
Spurred on by energetic student sections, the seesaw affair continued throughout the majority of the second half, before a late surge from Bloomer put their lead just out of reach in the final minutes.

Sophomore forward Karson Galvez led an incredibly balanced Macks attack with 15 points, while junior guard Jordan Sikora and sophomore guard Cael Holm each chipped in 13. Junior guard Cooper Mittermeyer was close behind with 12, as four McDonell starters finished in double figures.
