Facing a Division 2 opponent and also their third game of the week, the Lady Macks (8-0, 3-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) came out of the gate fast against the Hilltoppers (4-4, 2-1 Mississippi Valley Conference), pulling away to a 16-point lead by the break.
In the second half McDonell continued to press their advantage, substituting freely but never letting up on the defensive pressure. A balanced offensive attack paid dividends as well, as the Lady Macks netted four players in double figures and cruised to an impressive victory.
