Back at Dorais for Homecoming and fresh off their first conference victory, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (2-4, 1-3 Big Rivers Conference) went three and out on their first two possessions against the unbeaten and state-ranked Tigers (6-0, 4-0 BRC), who quickly staked themselves to a 12-0 advantage.
The Cards hoped to find a spark with a long touchdown run in the second quarter, but simply could not stop the New Richmond attack, as the Tigers only punted once and dominated time of possession throughout the contest.
Senior DB Carter Bowe continued his strong play on both defense and special teams, recording multiple tackles and, though one was negated by penalty, two exciting kick returns.
