First, we have highlights from both the Republican and Democratic radio addresses. State Senator, Howard Marklein(R-Spring Green), slams Gov. Evers veto of tax cuts in the budget, while Gov. Evers touts investments into K-12 education in the new budget. Also, with Fierce Freedom's "Eau Freedom: Fun Run & Fest" coming up July 19th from 5-8pm at Carson Park in Eau Claire,from our May 7th program we bring back three members of Fierce Freedom, the Chippewa Valley's anti-human trafficking organization, to update us on the organization's rebranded biggest annual fundraiser. We hear from co-founder & Exec. Dir., Jenny Almquist; Community Program Specialist, Cat Morgan; and Community Engagement Specialist, Joyce Orth
