12/29/20 Basketball: McDonell Lady Macks 56, Eau Claire Regis 37

Back in action for the second time after Christmas, the Lady Macks (4-1, 3-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) looked sharp against the Ramblers (5-4, 2-3 WCC), and cruised in the second half to remain unbeaten in conference play.

12/29/20 Basketball: McDonell Macks 54, Eau Claire Regis 53

In a battle of two quality teams searching for a first conference victory, the Macks (3-2, 1-2 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went back-and-forth with their perennial rival, and overcame a lead from the Ramblers (1-6, 0-3 WCC), to push ahead by one at the break.

In a lower scoring, tightly defended second half, McDonell kept their cool in the closing seconds and came from behind to secure the victory.

Senior guard Logan Hughes came through with another strong performance and a game-high 21 points, including the game-winner!

12/28/20 Basketball: Medford-44 Chippewa Falls-33

 After jumping out to a 5-0 lead early, Medford(4-2) never trailed and was never even tied on their way to a 44-33 win over Chi High at Chippewa Falls. Medford began the second half with another 5-0 run mounting their biggest lead of the game at 30-15, and held on for the win.


WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Brooklyn Sandvig led the way with eight points and Ava Reuter added seven, as the Cards struggled offensively.
