2/11/21 Basketball: McDonell Macks 65, Thorp 26

In their final conference and regular season game, the Macks (12-4, 8-4 Western Cloverbelt Conference) used pressure defense out of the gate to take a commanding early lead against the Cardinals (0-11, 0-9 WCC), who were never able to consistently find their offensive rhythm.

McDonell forced a running clock later in the second half and was able to get significant playing time for a number of reserves, as 10 players found their way into the scoring column.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Sophomore guard Eddie Mittermeyer played hassling defense while matching his 16-point tally against Thorp in their first matchup, while senior guard Jake Siegenthaler poured in all 13 of his points in a strong first half.
