In a rematch with the state's number-one ranked team, the Lady Macks (22-4, 12-2 Western Cloverbelt Conference) battled gamely but could never pull even with the tremendously talented Bears (26-0, 12-0 Central Lakeland Conference), who built an early double-digit lead and kept McDonell at arm's length the rest of the way.
