2/13/21 WIAA Division 5 Regional Final Basketball: (1) McDonell Lady Macks 57, (3) Lake Holcombe 44

Playing on back to back nights, the Lady Macks (10-3, 6-2 Western Cloverbelt Conference) faced another stiff defensive test against the Chieftains (11-7, 9-3 East Lakeland Conference), who had stunned conference foe Flambeau the night before.

McDonell battled gamely in the paint and continued to force turnovers, eventually stretching an eight point halftime advantage to as many as 18 as they claimed their first Regional Championship since 2017-18.

Junior guard Lauryn Deetz tallied 10 points in the second half and led the team with 16, as eight different Lady Macks scored.

2/13/2021 Boys Basketball: St. Croix Central 78-Chippewa Falls 72

 The Chippewa Falls Cardinals took to the floor on a Saturday afternoon Senior day against St. Croix Central Panthers from the Middle Border conference. The Panthers raced out to an early lead, but Chi Hi clawed their way to a tie ball game in the second half. Chippewa Never could get over the hump and lost their final regular season matchup
