To kick off "Restorative Justice Week," Dana Brown, Eau Claire County Restorative Justice Coordinator, and Dr. Shannon Silva, Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at the Univ. of Denver, explain what restorative justice is. They also say since crime damages people and relationships, justice should be about repairing the harm. And Dana explains the three components of restorative justice are victim needs, offender accountability, and community involvement.
