Looking to make a push back into conference contention, the Macks (6-3, 2-3 Western Cloverbelt Conference) came out of the gate hot against the Thunder (0-4, 0-4 WCC), before foul trouble allowed the home team to cut the deficit to 7 by halftime.
In the second, McDonell locked in defensively and came away with one of their most balanced offensive performances of the season.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guards Jake Siegenthaler and Logan Hughes led with 16 and 14 points, respectively, but five Macks players hit double-digits, including senior forward Tanner Opsal with 13, junior guard Dan Anderson with 12, and sophomore guard Eddie Mittermeyer with 10!
