Basketball: 11-16-18 La Crosse Aquinas 82-Chi Hi 45

In the first game of the season, Chi Hi made a trek down to the Coulee region to take on the defending Division 4 state Champion Blugolds. Despite graduating 7 seniors from that title squad, Aquinas proved they are still as strong as ever, dominating the game from a 10-0 start to a 42-14 lead at the half. Despite a more even second half,  Chi Hi ultimately fell by a roughly similar margin to their defeat at the hands of Aquinas to begin last season.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior Alexis Zenner scored 12 points to lead the Lady Cards. Junior Caelan Givens and Aaliyah McMillan each had 10 points. Givens returned to the game after briefly being knocked out of the game with a collision resulting in a nosebleed.
