12/7/18 Basketball: Fall Creek 60, McDonell Lady Macks 48

In their home opener, the Lady Macks (3-1, 2-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) gave up the game's first two points before going on a 9-0 run, but the athletic and disciplined Crickets (3-1, 3-0 WCC) responded to the McDonell charge in the first half and later the second and remained unbeaten in conference play.

Sophomore guards Maggie Craker and Anna Geissler each notched 11 points for the Lady Macks.

12/6/18 Basketball: Thorp 58, McDonell Macks 32

On the road at Thorp, both teams struggled to connect from the field in the first half as the Macks (2-2, 1-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) fell behind by 10 at the break. In the second, Coach Schilling's crew battled back to within two of the Cardinals (2-2, 1-1 WCC), who proved too strong down the stretch.

Senior guard Cory Hoglund led the way for the Macks with 15 hard-earned points.

Senior All Big Ten Safety D'cota Dixon joins Greg on this edition of Sports and Commentary to talk about the season and the honor of going to New York as a finalist for the Campbell Trophy as the nation's top scholar football player. 12/1/2018 Basketball: Onalaska 65-Chi Hi 56

Chi Hi (0-2) played host to Onalaska (1-0) in a tough non-conference match-up in their first home game of the season. In an entertaining first half, the teams went back and forth trading leads and baskets before being tied at 30 at the half. The Cardinals led by two late in the game but Onalaska hit their free throws down the stretch to pull away.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior Nolan Hutzler hit 6 three pointers in the game to finish with 18 points to lead the Cards. Senior Tyler Robarge racked up 12 points and 5 rebounds.

12/1/18 Basketball: Colfax 59, McDonell Macks 52

Facing a Top 10 Division 4 opponent in the Northwest Tipoff Classic at UW-Stout, the Macks (2-1, 1-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) battled foul trouble throughout the contest, but gamely hung on against the Vikings (3-0, 0-0 Dunn-St. Croix) before falling in the closing minutes.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Sharpshooting junior J.D. Bohaty poured in 18 points, while senior Cory Hoglund netted 17.
