The University of  Minnesota Gophers football team became bowl eligible with a stunning win in the last regular season game of the year at Wisconsin. Gophers All Big Ten Linebacker Carter Coughlin joins Greg on Sports and Commentary to talk about the "Border Battle" victory, the upcoming bowl game against Georgia Tech  and the impact his faith in Jesus Christ has made in his life. 12/8/2018 Basketball: Chi Hi 48, Stevens Point 46

Chi Hi (2-3, 1-0 Big Rivers Conference) hosted longtime division 1 powerhouse Stevens Point (1-3) on Saturday night in the Cardinals second game in as many nights after vanquishing Menomonie on Friday. The Cards trailed by two at the end of the second half but clawed their way back to a lead late and hit enough free throws late to survive and notch a key non-conference victory.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior Tyler Robarge led the way for the Cardinals and tied for the game's leading scorer overall with 12 points and had 7 rebounds. Peyton Rodgers-Schmidt notched a double double with 10 points and 10 boards.

Former Chippewa Valley resident, Sheila Cote, describes living through Alaska's recent 7.0 earthquake. Also, Amanda Radle, Social Services Director of the Salvation Army of the Chippewa Valley, discusses the Bell ringing campaign, as well as the 116 drop-off sites for Toys for Tots. And, an update on the return home from the hospital of 10 year old, Madalyn Zwiefelhofer, the lone survivor of the horrible Nov. 3rd Lake Hallie crash that left three Girl Scouts and one adult dead.
