Altoona Police Chief, Kelly Bakken, says the body of an approximately-80 year old Altoona man was found April 12th in Rockford, IL. She says injuries on the man's body led Rockford Police to call his death "suspicious," and the investigation is continuing. Also, we hear from 34 year old, Rebecca Cooke, one of five candidates running in the 3rd Congressional District Democratic primary looking to succeed the longtime incumbent Democrat, Ron Kind, who's announced his not seeking re-election. Cooke owns Red's Mercantile in Eau Claire and also founded the Red Letter Grant nonprofit in 2016, which she says has helped launch 27 female-owned businesses.
