The Northwestern University Wildcats football team played in the programs first ever Big Ten Championship game this year. The West Division winners are 8-5 going into the Holiday Bowl matchup with Utah on December 31st. NU Senior Running Back Chad Hanaoka joins Greg on Sports and Commentary to visit about his team's remarkable season, his unlikely story of  making the "Cats" roster and his faith. 12/14/18 Basketball: McDonell Macks 84, Fall Creek 76 (OT)

In a seesaw affair between two teams trying to get a jump on the conference race, the Macks (3-3, 2-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) fell behind by 10 late in the second half, but made an impressive run before the Crickets (2-4, 0-3 WCC) forced overtime. in the extra period. McDonell jumped all over their opponent from the opening tip, and cruised to a much-needed victory.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guard Cory Hoglund led the way for the Macks with 22 points, 20 of them in the second half, while fellow seniors Charlie Bleskachek and J.D. Bohaty contributed 19 and 18 points, respectively. Junior Eion Kressin had a double double and finished with 14 hard-earned points.
