1/3/17: Chi-Hi 62, Eau Claire Memorial 60

Chi-Hi (3-5, 2-0 Big Rivers Conference) had a back and forth battle in the first half against conference rivals Eau Claire Memorial (2-5, 0-2 Big Rivers Conference) in their first home conference match-up of the season but were able to get a 32-25 halftime lead. The Cardinals opened up the second half to an eventual 14 point lead that was cut to a 2 point lead with under a minute to play, but key defense and free throws were able to ice the game for Chi-Hi's second conference win of the season.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Dawson Mathwig scored 16 points for the Cardinals while adding steals on back-to-pack possessions in the final seconds to prevent Memorial from taking the lead or tying the game. Tyler Roabrge and Emmanuel Joseph were able to pick up multiple offensive boards as each got into double digits scoring on the night.
