12/12/16 CHI: 49, MED: 65

Chi-Hi (2-4, 1-0 Big Rivers Conference) started off slow and was never able to find a rhythm against the Medford Raiders (1-2, 0-1 Great Northern Conference), as Medford was able to control the tempo of the game and deny the post players the ball, forcing low percentage shots throughout the course of the night for Chi-Hi in a 65-49 loss by the Cardinals.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Chandler Blair started off with the first six point for Chippewa Falls but was silent after that. Dawson Mathwig was able to get into double digits while shooting 50 percent from the field. Tyler Robarge had four points underneath for the Cardinals.

Chi-Hi (2-3, 1-0 Big Rivers Conference) started off slow, but proceeded to go on a 33-7 run and coast from that point on against their conference rivals, the Menomonie Mustangs (1-3, 0-1 Big Rivers Conference), using a suffocating perimeter defense and an effective inside-out offensive game plan.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Bryce Daniels led the way and started the 33-7 run with a number of steals and 17 points. Along the way, Emmanuel Joseph had two blocks and 14 points, and Dawson Mathwig got into double-digits once again with 11 points.

12/12/16 CHI: 56, MEN: 53

After a tie at halftime, the Lady Cardinals (3-3, 1-1 Big Rivers Conference) began to pull away from the Mustangs (3-2. 1-1 Big Rivers Conference) with a huge second half from Freshman Caelan Givens as Chi-Hi came away with a 56-53 victory for coach Becca Bestul's first Big Rivers Conference win.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Caelan Givens got into foul trouble early on but was above second digits in the second half alone. Lexi Hanley's defense held the Mustangs in check and she also controlled the ball well while taking the shots that she was given.
