1/21/19 Basketball: Chi Hi 55-New Richmond 40

Chi Hi (6-8, 4-3 Big Rivers Conference) went on the road for an inter-conference showdown with New Richmond (9-5, 7-0 Middle Border Conference). The game was played in a patient but sometimes sloppy fashion, and Chi Hi led wire to wire in an impressive non-conference victory for their second straight win. 

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior Tyler Robarge finished with 17 points despite foul trouble, and finished shots in the paint right when the Cards needed them. Junior Peyton Rogers Schmidt repeatedly got to the free throw line and scored 12 points.

1/18/19 Basketball: Chippewa Falls 68, Eau Claire North 33

Chi Hi (11-3, 7-0 Big Rivers Conference) got off to a slower start and Eau Claire North (5-9, 2-5 BRC) hung tough early in the first half before the Cards built a double figure lead at the break. Chi Hi put it away in the second to complete the season sweep of the Huskies. 

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior Aaliyah McMillan had a spectacular second half after a quieter first half to finish with 19 points to lead all scorers. Caelan Givens did most of her damage in the first half, en route to 16 points.

1/15/19 Basketball: McDonell Macks 62, Cadott 29

Back in Chippewa Falls for the last game of their first run through the conference slate, the Macks (7-5, 4-3 Western Cloverbelt Conference) battled through a scoring drought out of the gate before pulling away from the Hornets (2-7, 0-7 WCC) near halftime and then cruising after the break.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guard Cory Hoglund was nearly unstoppable, pouring in a season-high 33 points!
