1/3/19 Basketball: McDonell Lady Macks 58, Cadott 46

Back at home after playing eight of their first nine on the road, the Lady Macks (4-6, 3-4 Western Cloverbelt Conference) shook off some early shooting woes with stellar defense, only giving up 12 points by halftime to the Hornets (4-6, 1-6 WCC). An early 11-2 run in the second half pushed the game out of reach and helped McDonell snap a six-game losing streak and remain in the thick of the conference race.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Sophomore guard Maggie Craker knocked down five threes and finished with 17 points, while senior guard Abby Wampler tallied 15.
