In their third games of the year, the Chi-Hi Cardinals (1-2, 0-0 Big Rivers Conference) put together a four point halftime lead but it was not enough as they lost a thrilling game against Holmen (2-1, 0-0 Mississippi Valley Conference) that ended with a Dawson Mathwig long missed three at the buzzer. The final score was a Holmen victory at 60-58, the best defensive output for the Cardinals this season, but the lowest offensive output.
