1/31/17: Chi-Hi 47, Rice Lake 42

Chi-Hi (12-5, 6-3 Big Rivers Conference) was able to weather a two-point halftime deficit and hold the Rice Lake Warriors (8-8, 3-4 BRC) to just 17 points in the second half to win their tenth game in their last twelve. It was the fourteenth straight win for the Lady Cardinals over the Warriors, as they have not fallen to Rice Lake since February 2, 2010. In the game, Lexi Hanley was able to score her 1,000th career point and finished the night with 1,002 total, putting her in second place, just twenty-seven points behind Chi-Hi's all-time leading scorer with five regular season games left to play.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Caelan Givens had another phenomenal offensive performance as she had 13 points for the Cardinals. Bailee Sillman also had 13, including two key three pointers on back-to-back possessions. Ashley Hanley only played in the second half, but she ended a drought of seven-and-a-half scoreless minutes at the beginning of the second half with three straight made three pointers to finish with 9 points.
