Noah Welch played college hockey at Harvard and in 2001 was the second round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the 54th overall. After playing for the "Pens" and then Florida and Tampa Bay in the NHL he traveled to Sweden to play pro hockey there. The 35 year old defenseman was selected this year to represent the United States on the Men's Olympic hockey team.
