12/4/17 Basketball: McDonell Macks 65, Colfax 56

In a tightly contested non-conference game, the Macks (3-0, 1-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) came back from a second-half deficit and were able to fend off a Vikings squad (0-3, 0-0 Dunn-St. Croix Conference) that was far better than their record indicated to preserve a perfect start to the young season.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guard/forward Hayden Baughman poured in 19 of his game-high 31 points after the break and knocked down five three-pointers on the night, while sophomore center Eion Kressin was perfect from the field and the charity stripe and notched 10 points.

12-1-17 Basketball: Chi Hi 68 - Menomonie 46

As a part of the second half of a boys and girls basketball doubleheader, Chi-Hi (3-1, 2-0 Big Rivers Conference) got out to an early lead against Menomonie (2-2, 1-1 BRC), to hold a 10 point advantage at the half. With a series of buckets, especially those from behind the arc in the early 2nd half, the Cardinals continued to widen their lead and win handily by 22 points.

It was Chi-Hi's second conference victory in 4 days after they had beaten Hudson earlier in the week to assert themselves as a force to be reckoned with early in the season in the Big Rivers.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Sophomore Caelan Givens once again paced the Cards with 16 points to lead a very balanced scoring attack. Sophomores Alexis Zenner (13), Ashley Hanley (12), and Aaliyah McMillan (11) also cracked double figures in points for Chi-Hi.
