2/14/2019 Basketball: Chi Hi 62-Menomonie 55

Chi Hi (15-5, 10-1 Big Rivers Conference) had their eyes on at least a share of the Big Rivers conference crown that they could earn in Menomonie (14-5, 8-4 BRC) with a victory over the Mustangs. Chi Hi's lead was as much as 13 early but it evaporated in the second half and the Cardinals found themselves trailing. Chi Hi earned their way to the free throw line with a bevy of and 1 baskets and was magnificent on their free throws (21-24) to secure the win and at least a share of the conference title for the 8th straight year.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior Alexis Zenner keyed the Cardinals  the second half, with 8 straight points including two completed and 1 buckets, and finished with 18. Junior Caelan Givens also had 18,  and went 10 of 11 from the free throw line. Junior Aaliyah McMillan had a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

2/13/19 Basketball: McDonell Macks 72, Eau Claire Regis 46

Back home and looking to avenge a 5 point loss in Eau Claire earlier in the season, the Macks (10-7, 7-4 Western Cloverbelt Conference) survived an early downtown shooting barrage from the Ramblers (11-7, 6-5 WCC), built an 8 point lead by the end of the first half, and hit cruise in the second as Regis was never able to mount a serious challenge.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior Center Eion Kressin had one of his best offensive games of the season, controlling the paint and finishing with 19 points, while senior forward Charlie Bleskachek was right behind with 17.
