The Chippewa County Sheriff's Dept. said 34 year old sex offender, Jonathon R. Mickelson, of Oregon had been placed in Chippewa Falls and would be living under supervision. Rep. Warren Petryk says now is the time to apply for youth apprenticeships. Drew Hawkins, a Royal Construction apprentice, won the Associated Builders and Contractors of WI Skills competition and was headed to Texas for the national coompetition. Finally, the Founder and Ex. Director of The Hub, Becky Piper, explained it to be a community where those facing homelessness can seek temporary transitional shelter while working with a case manager to move ahead.
