Finally back at home after a five game road trip, the Lady Macks (9-2, 5-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) started a little slowly against the Hornets (10-2, 4-2 WCC) but, led by their defense, surged to a 14 point lead by halftime.
In the second half, McDonell increased their advantage to 20+ points and held that margin until the game's late stages, as they emphatically took sole control of second place in the conference standings.
