In their first conference game of the year, the Macks (0-2, 0-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) hung with the veteran Orioles (1-2, 1-0 WCC) early, but watched their deficit climb to eight points by the half, thanks to hot shooting from beyond the arc by the visitors.
After the break, McDonell hung on gamely, but could never quite get within striking distance as their senior-laden opponent pulled away late.
