10/15/21 Football: Chi-Hi 20, Hudson 14

Playing both for postseason positioning and conference standings, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (7-2, 5-2 Big Rivers Conference) hit the road for the second consecutive week, this time facing the Raiders (5-4, 4-3 BRC), who were poised to make a statement on their Senior Night.

Both offenses put a touchdown on the board in the first half, but in the second, key defensive plays made all the difference as the Cards secured an impressive, hard-fought victory and ended their regular season with an exclamation point.

The Chi-Hi defense answered the call time and again as they battled a talented Raiders offense. Senior DB Gavin Goodman made two drive-killing interceptions deep in Chi-Hi territory, including a 80-yard pick six that changed the tide of the game.
