On the road against a perennial power, the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (3-7, 3-4 Big Rivers Conference) marched down the field on a game-opening scoring drive that consumed over 5 minutes, then traded touchdowns throughout the contest with the Red Raiders (9-1, 8-1 Fox River Classic Conference). With under two minutes remaining, the Cards had a chance to shock the state with an upset, but couldn't quite seal the deal as they saw a remarkable late-season run come to a close.
