After trailing by seven points at the break, the McDonell Lady Macks (9-7, 3-7 Western Cloverbelt Conference) made a push in the second half but ultimately came up short, falling at the buzzer to the Thunder (6-10, 3-7) in Osseo.
The Macks were led by a 15 points from junior Josie Verbick, and fellow junior Abby Klimek added 9.
