As Hope Gospel Mission celebrates 25 years we begin the look back with Founder, Mark Donnelly, who says he first starting thinking about starting a rescue mission in 1993, though it took five more years for it to become official and until 2000 before the downtown Eau Claire men's shelter actually opened. Part one of our discussion includes the opening of Hope Bargain Center in 2003 and the opening of the Ruth House, a shelter for single women, in 2005.
