This past Thursday, April 27th, Republicans held news conferences around the state to share more details on their proposed Shared Revenue plan to deliver more than $500 million more to local governments in the future. We bring you highlights of their Altoona news conference as we hear from Rep. Warren Petryk(R-Eleva); Rep. Shannon Zimmerman(R-River Falls), who's one of six GOP members of the powerful Joint Finance Comm.; Rep. Cllint Moses(R-Menomonie); Rep. David Armstrong(R-Rice Lake); as well as local officials like Eau Claire City Council President and incoming President of the Wisconsin League of Municipalities, Emily Berge; Altoona Mayor, Brendan Pratt; Dan Hanson, Chair of the Twon Board of the Town of Pleasant Valley; and Steve Dickinsen of the Towns Association and Chair of the Garfield Town Board in Jackson county. We also close out the show with criticisms of the GOP plan from State Senate minority leader, Melissa Agard(D-Madison).
