Chippewa Valley This Week
Chippewa Falls Police Chief, Matthew Kelm, and Chippewa Falls Fire Chief, Lee Douglas, discuss the city's Nov.8th public safety referendum which, if passed, would add one additional police officer position, three firefighter/EMS positions, and increase police and fire/EMS wages to retain and attract qualified employees. Kelm and Douglas answer a number of questions related to the referendum, including the cost to homeowners of $115 per $100-thousand dollars of their home's value.
