As a part of the second half of a boys and girls basketball doubleheader, Chi-Hi (3-1, 2-0 Big Rivers Conference) got out to an early lead against Menomonie (2-2, 1-1 BRC), to hold a 10 point advantage at the half. With a series of buckets, especially those from behind the arc in the early 2nd half, the Cardinals continued to widen their lead and win handily by 22 points.
It was Chi-Hi's second conference victory in 4 days after they had beaten Hudson earlier in the week to assert themselves as a force to be reckoned with early in the season in the Big Rivers.

Sophomore Caelan Givens once again paced the Cards with 16 points to lead a very balanced scoring attack. Sophomores Alexis Zenner (13), Ashley Hanley (12), and Aaliyah McMillan (11) also cracked double figures in points for Chi-Hi.
