On the road in a battle to maintain sole possession of first place in the conference standings, the Lady Macks (6-6, 4-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) struggled to score in the first half against the lengthy and experienced Crickets (8-3, 4-1 WCC), who led by eight at the break.
In the second half, Fall Creek found their rhythm offensively while McDonell continued to struggle, and though the Lady Macks made a late push, the Crickets maintained a comfortable lead and vaulted themselves into a three-way tie for first with McDonell and Regis.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Sophomore guard Erin Siegenthaler led the way for the Lady Macks with 11 points, while her twin sister, guard/forward Anne Siegenthaler, was close behind with 9.
