Who are the homeless in downtown Eau Claire? What are the issues and challenges they and businesses face? These and other matters were addressed by a great panel at the Eau Claire Chamber's July 19th Eggs & Issues event, which also included updates on a proposed Day Resource Center and Street Ambassadors for the downtown. Panelists we hear from include Chris Hedlund, Program & Education Director, Hope Gospel Mission; Katie Hulbert, Housing & Family Services Director, Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council; Billie Hufford, Project Management Coordinator, City of Eau Claire; and Erin Klaus, Co-Owner, Tangled Up in Hue and Downtown Eau Claire, Inc(DECI) Communications & Promotions Coordinator.
