Playing at home for just the second time this season, the Lady Macks (5-0, 3-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) quickly found themselves behind the Crickets (3-4, 1-2 WCC), who played an incredibly efficient first half offensively.
The Macks battled to within a basket by halftime, then started the second on a 7-0 run and never looked back, as they steadily widened their lead and remained perfect on the season.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guard Lauryn Deetz poured in 21 points against a tough defense, while junior forward Marley Hughes notched 13 - including some spectacular left-handed finishes in traffic - and senior guard Destiny Baughman chipped in 11.
